Transformers Adventure

My boyfriend and I decided to watch Transformers 3 last night, July 1, 2011 since he doesn't have class and I have no work yesterday.

After finishing some errands, I went to Shangri-La Mall to buy advance tickets for us for the last full show. I arrived around 7 in the evening and went straight to the ticket booth. I was shocked that almost all of the seats for the last full show for Transformers 3D was taken! 3 hours before the freaking movie, the tickets were almost sold out! Even the regular movie was almost sold out. When Andrei arrived, I showed him the available seats, he was devastated. Then we both decided to go to Promenade (Greenhills) and watch there instead.

We walked from Shang to Megamall to look for an FX so we can be in Greenhills faster. But we were on the wrong side of Megamall. Then we went to the other side (ADB side) and finally found the terminal going to Greenhills. There were no FX available and we were losing hope that we wont make it in time, then there was the FX! (YEY!) After the FX was filled up with passengers, we went off. The trip was faster than expected, a little less than 15 minutes! Then we hurried to Promenade and checked out the availability of the movie. Much to our dismay, it is even worse than Shang. All seats were taken. Even for their 2D, no seats were available for us. We walked out with brokenhearted.

We then just decided to eat out. since Andrei is allergic to chicken and pizza, we skipped almost all of the available dining place there. I insisted to eat in Itallianis because I want pasta, but he declined. Then we saw this new (to our eyes) Casa Reyes.

Andrei wanted to try out their Crispy Dinuguan (Pork Blood Stew) and I wanted to try their Kare-Kare (Philippine Stew made from peanut sauce with oxtail, beef and vegetables). It was overwhelming. Their Crispy Dinuguan was really crispy because the meat was like Chicharron (crispy fried pork meat) with Dinuguan sauce. Though you can feel your heart twitch with every spoon-full of it. But Andrei liked it, it was like heaven according to him. The Kare-Kare was delicious as well. The bagoong (shrimp paste) complemented well with the Kare-Kare. Perfect combination. We both went home with a happy tummy. :)
